Based on the outskirts of Chester city center, I see clients in my comfortable counselling room.
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and listed on its register which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Are you experiencing the pain of grief, illness, relationship break-up; or possibly some form of addictive behaviour?
Have you have been struggling for a long time to move forward with your life because you experienced something traumatic in your past?
Perhaps you feel held hostage by low self-esteem, depression or some form of anxiety disorder such as OCD, panic attacks or social phobia.
One thing I would like to reassure you about today is that whatever your problem is, I will not judge you for having it. My aim is to support you as you work through, and out of, your problem.
One more thing, I have never been shocked by what someone says is their problem, but I have been frequently surprised to hear a person ‘apologize’ because they don’t think their problem is serious, or severe, enough to warrant seeing a counsellor.
Your problem is just that, 'yours'! No one else is living with it except you. I am here, and I am ready to listen.
